I've started with DarwinPorts and then went on to slowly infiltrate all parts of OpenDarwin. In that time I also managed to meet a large part of our active developers and tried to connect them so that they would work together better, sometimes I've succeeded doing that. It was awesome to go to conferences and talk about the projects we have at OpenDarwin and try and promote our little niche-product. Last but not least, it was really a pleasure to see that some people actually booted and installed coyote and even gave feedback. However, I kinda feel the urge to move on and work on some other things. Since I usually like to end things on clear terms, I have stepped down from the OpenDarwin core team and will have my account removed eventually. I have received lot's of support from the community and fellow-developers. Some sponsored me in order to participate at WWDC, others donated hardware so I could work even better on OpenDarwin. Thanks a lot, guys! This has been much appreciated. Without all that support it would have been much harder. The stuff I have on opendarwin.org/~fkr, will move somewhere to an archive site up on hazardous.org/~fkr/. To contact me via e-mail use either fkr@hazardous.org or kronlage@bytemine.net. I'd still be glad to meet you guys at conferences. So, if you see a conference on my weblog where I go and where you will show up too, drop me a mail! take care! felix - -- 076E 1E87 3E05 1C7F B1A0 8A48 0D31 9BD3 D9AC 74D0 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (Darwin) iD8DBQFCJ5GbDTGb09msdNARAjffAJ9wmSveaPmwfSklXrj6h9pLe/QpuACfWmMj Z6GYYlx6QDzPlW5hzqC8QnU= =vQXp -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Hackers mailing list Hackers@opendarwin.org http://www.opendarwin.org/mailman/listinfo/hackers
