This is a follow-up post to the post from a couple of weeks ago on Theranos. In the post, I referred to two resources that I - at the time of writing - did not get around to:

• The podcast: The Dropout
• The documentary from HBO: “The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley”.

I can recommend both. The podcast contains many interviews and hearing the voices, specifically the distinctive deep baritone voice of Elizabeth Holmes that is referred to in a lot of places, their explanations, and the in-depth views presented make it time well spent. While the documentary will then not contain much more info on the story it does contain a lot of footage from Theranos marketing. Furthermore, it does contain a lot of footage featuring Elizabeth Holmes and the viewer will get an idea of why so many people fell for her and how pervasive she can be.

With that, I can wrap this up for myself - at least until Holmes is released from prison.
