At the 2018 edition of the Open Source Monitoring Conference I gave the talk From Monitoring to ITSM. The alternate title of this talk would’ve been: The lean approach to ITSM.

Basically it re-capped the learnings from my time at bytemine and how we moved from just having monitoring to having processes, monitoring and ticketing (service desk) and how this plays together. It wasn’t a pure theoretical talk, since the talk reflected on how we moved from having the json-rt-api to icinga2rt and my further work on rotochute.
